I am a father, a dancer, a reader, and a writer.
I’m interested in what makes the world, and the people in it, tick.
I want to make a difference, bring something new into the world.
I like to re-invent ritual, which is often lost.
At heart, I’m an Existentialist, could even say a Situationist. Which, to me, means getting the most out of this life and being an active participant.
I’m happiest on the hills or the dancefloor, or talking deep shit with my daughter.
Or in one of those moments when I’m lost in a book, inside a story.
I like stories, sometimes I say ‘I’ve learnt more from novels than the training I’ve done,’ and it’s partially true.
It’s special when the thing you’re searching for lies just out of reach, as the best things tend to do, and a poem catches the sense of it.
I like feeling for the sense of things.
Our shadow (parts of ourselves we repress, suppress, or deny), by its nature, is unconscious - we can’t see it, but we can get a sense of it from the wake it leaves behind.
It’s the wake I like looking for, the echo, the imprint.
It’s where the gold lies, the possibility of something new to emerge.
I actually do believe change is possible.
I've done it, seen it, I’m in it.
As are you, this is part of your transformation.
Stepping from one world to the other.
